A tire inflator and sealant kit replaces the standard spare tire on eligible single-rear-wheel Cargo Vans, though a full-size spare remains available.

Transit Cargo Van

Provides an enclosed commercial cargo area that can be configured for delivery, construction, mobile service, and other business applications.

Depending on the series, buyers can choose:

• T-150, T-250, T-350, or T-350 HD configurations
• Rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive
• Low, medium, or high roof
• Regular, long, or extended body length
• Single or dual rear wheels
• Gas or electric power

The cargo area can be left open for custom upfitting or equipped with factory-available bulkheads, wall protection, flooring, and shelving. Window configurations range from no rear cargo glass to fixed glass around the entire cargo area, and available rear-door openings, sliding-side-door equipment, and cargo-access features vary by roof height and body length.

Transit Passenger Van XL

Built for organizations that need flexible group transportation without every premium feature offered on XLT.

Depending on vehicle length, Passenger Van configurations can seat up to 15 passengers. Long vans commonly run a 12-passenger layout, while 15-passenger seating is available on compatible long and extended-length models.

Standard equipment includes front and rear climate control, full-length interior trim, rear-compartment lighting, USB charging locations, and Ford Co-Pilot360. Available equipment includes all-wheel drive, Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0, powered and heated mirrors, upgraded seating, exterior appearance packages, and specialized passenger-transportation prep packages.

Available with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, in low, medium, and high-roof configurations.

Transit Cutaway

Provides a factory cab and open rear frame for specialized body installation. Common applications include shuttle buses, commercial delivery bodies, accessible transportation, and service and utility vehicles.

The Cutaway lineup includes gas-powered rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, plus E-Transit Cutaway models in rear-wheel drive. Several wheelbases, gross vehicle weight configurations, and single- or dual-rear-wheel setups are available, along with prep packages that support motorhome, shuttle, and other specialized applications.

Final body installation, equipment compatibility, and completed-vehicle certification are the responsibility of the upfitter.

Transit Chassis Cab

Includes an enclosed cab with an exposed rear frame for custom commercial bodies, well suited to service bodies, flat decks, utility bodies, delivery bodies, and landscaping or mobile-workshop builds.

Vehicle Integration System 2.0 is standard on Chassis Cab, helping approved upfitters connect and control compatible aftermarket equipment. Gas-powered Chassis Cab configurations offer rear-wheel or all-wheel drive; rear-wheel-drive E-Transit Chassis Cab configurations are also available.

3.5L PFDi V6

The naturally aspirated 3.5L PFDi V6 is offered across eligible Cargo Van, Passenger Van, Cutaway, and Chassis Cab configurations, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 250-amp alternator. A straightforward gas option for businesses that don't need the EcoBoost's added output. Availability depends on body, gross vehicle weight, axle, and drivetrain configuration.

3.5L EcoBoost V6

The available 3.5L EcoBoost V6 uses turbocharging and direct injection, offered on eligible Cargo Van, Passenger Van, Cutaway, and Chassis Cab models, and standard on select higher-capacity configurations. For 2026, EcoBoost availability expands to additional low-roof and medium-roof rear-wheel-drive Cargo Vans, and those configurations no longer require the Ambulance Prep Package to select it.

10-Speed Automatic Transmission

All gas-powered Transit models use a 10-speed SelectShift automatic with an auxiliary transmission oil cooler. Available Tow/Haul equipment can further adapt transmission behaviour for trailer and commercial applications.

Rear-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive

Rear-wheel drive is offered throughout the Transit lineup, and available all-wheel drive can be selected on many gas-powered Cargo Vans, Passenger Vans, Cutaways, and Chassis Cabs. AWD can add traction on Athabasca-area winter roads, gravel lots, and rural job sites. Configuration availability depends on body style, engine, roof height, wheelbase, rear-axle setup, and gross vehicle weight. E-Transit is offered exclusively in rear-wheel drive.

Low Roof is the easiest configuration to fit into locations with tighter overhead clearance. Low-roof Cargo Vans come in regular and long configurations; low-roof Passenger Vans use the long body. Several Cutaway and Chassis Cab wheelbases are also available.

Medium Roof adds interior height while staying lower than the full high-roof configuration. Offered on Cargo Van and Passenger Van models with a long body, and medium-roof Cargo Vans can be equipped with available Close Assist, trade packages, bulkheads, and specialized cargo-area equipment.

High Roof provides the most interior height in the enclosed-van lineup. High-roof Cargo Vans come in long and extended lengths, and high-roof Passenger Vans are available in long and extended configurations depending on seating and drivetrain. High-roof Cargo Vans include 253-degree rear-door hinges for a wider opening, an option also available on select other Transit vans, including eligible high-roof Passenger Vans.

The 2026 E-Transit gives commercial businesses an electric option, provided they can support regular vehicle charging. Configurations include low-roof, medium-roof, high-roof, and extended high-roof Cargo Van, plus Chassis Cab and Cutaway — all in rear-wheel drive with single rear wheels.

The electric powertrain pairs an 89 kWh high-voltage battery with a single-speed transmission. Ford hasn't finalized a 2026 driving-range figure yet, so range should be confirmed for the exact Canadian configuration you're ordering.

E-Transit Charging

E-Transit uses a J1772 CCS charge port supporting 120-volt AC, 240-volt AC, compatible DC fast charging, and Level 2 charging at up to 11.2 kW. A single onboard charger is standard for 2026, with dual onboard chargers available. Ford also offers a bundle with a mobile charging cord and NACS fast-charging adapter that supports compatible 120-volt and 240-volt connections. Actual charging time depends on the charger, battery temperature, state of charge, weather, and vehicle configuration.

Standard E-Transit Heat Pump

A vapour-injection heat pump is standard on the 2026 E-Transit, helping manage cabin and vehicle temperatures — particularly relevant for fleets running in and around Athabasca, since cold weather can affect EV range, energy consumption, and charging performance. Actual winter performance will still depend on outside temperature, route, cargo load, heating use, and charging conditions.

Pro Power Onboard for E-Transit

Available Pro Power Onboard delivers up to 2.4 kW of exportable power on eligible E-Transit models. Cargo Van configurations include two three-prong outlets near the rear cargo doors; on Cutaway and Chassis Cab models, the outlet and harness are supplied for installation and configuration by the final-stage manufacturer. Built to power compatible tools, chargers, and job-site equipment.

Transit Cargo Van and Passenger Van use a sliding passenger-side door. Low-roof and medium-roof vans generally include rear doors that open 180 degrees, while high-roof Cargo Vans include 253-degree rear-door hinges for a wider swing. That wider opening is also available on select low-roof, medium-roof, and Passenger Van configurations.

Available Close Assist

Available on compatible medium-roof and high-roof Cargo and Passenger Vans, and standard on eligible medium-roof and high-roof E-Transit models. It helps pull the sliding side door fully closed once it's been moved toward the latch position.

Cargo Van buyers can choose from several window arrangements, from no rear cargo-area windows up to fixed windows all around the cargo area. Privacy glass is included with select medium-roof and high-roof rear-glass configurations, and available laminated safety glass can be added on compatible medium-roof and high-roof Cargo Vans.

Transit Cargo Van can be equipped with factory-orderable shelving and vocational packages, including driver-side, passenger-side, or dual fixed shelving, two-level folding aluminum shelving, and Electrician, HVAC, and General Contractor trade packages. For 2026, those three trade packages are now available on compatible extended-length Cargo Vans.

Most shelving systems require an available bulkhead and can't be combined with certain window, climate-control, cargo-liner, or Pro Power Onboard configurations.

Electrician Trade Package uses fixed shelving to organize tools, equipment, and parts, available on eligible regular, long, and extended-length Cargo Vans.

HVAC Trade Package is built around the storage needs of heating and cooling businesses, available on eligible medium-roof and high-roof Cargo Vans in regular, long, and extended configurations.

General Contractor Trade Package provides a shelving layout for construction tools, fasteners, and job-site supplies, available on compatible regular, long, and extended-length Cargo Vans.

Available bulkheads separate the driver compartment from the cargo area, with designs including a lockable door and window or a fixed window only, depending on roof height. The partition can help cut cargo-area noise and make it easier to heat or cool the front seats.

Load Area Protection Package includes full-height four-millimetre polypropylene cargo panels, vinyl front and rear flooring, and wheel-well liners, built to protect the cargo area during everyday commercial use.

Heavy-Duty Wall Liner Kit steps that up with six-millimetre polypropylene wall protection, insulation behind the liners, a cargo-area headliner, motion-activated cargo lighting, insulated wheel-well covers, and scratch-resistant surfaces.

Heavy-Duty Cargo Flooring uses a composite polyethylene anti-slip surface with heavy-duty steel scuff protection around the rear and side cargo-door openings.

Transit is built to support a wide range of vocational upfits.

Vehicle Integration System 2.0 is standard on Cutaway and Chassis Cab and available on Cargo Van, on both gas and electric models. Recommended for any application using compatible aftermarket equipment, letting an approved upfitter program vehicle functions around installed commercial gear.

Available Upfitter Package includes high-capacity upfitter switches, a large centre console, an auxiliary fuse panel, and a high-spec interface connector. Available on gas-powered Transit models only, not E-Transit.

Pro Power Onboard for Gas Transit offers a 400-watt system on compatible gas-powered Cargo Van, Cutaway, and Chassis Cab configurations, intended for smaller corded tools, battery chargers, and mobile electronics. Availability depends on battery, seating, parking-brake, climate-control, and gross vehicle weight configuration.

Parcel Delivery Package is built for frequent-stop commercial routes. For 2026, Ford adds Delivery Assist: when the van is placed in Park, it can automatically close open windows and lock the doors after the driver exits. The package also includes commercial delivery equipment like wider-opening rear doors, depending on the vehicle selected.

Available trailer equipment includes Tow/Haul Mode, trailer wiring provisions, the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, a Trailer Brake Controller, and an extended-range fuel tank on compatible gas models. The Trailer Brake Controller has to be selected at the time of order — it can't be added after the vehicle is built.

There's no single maximum towing rating across the Transit lineup; capacity varies substantially by body style, engine, drivetrain, axle, gross vehicle weight, passengers, cargo, and installed upfit. Towing capability should be confirmed against the completed vehicle's certification labels and the applicable Canadian towing guide.

Every 2026 Transit includes SYNC 4 with a 12-inch centre display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, dual USB ports, an Information On Demand panel, cloud-connected functionality, a digital owner's manual, 911 Assist, and electronic climate controls, plus a standard eight-inch instrument display.

5G Modem and Fleet Connectivity

A 5G embedded modem is standard across the 2026 Transit lineup. Once activated, connected functions can support vehicle location, status, and diagnostics, maintenance alerts, odometer and oil-life information, engine-hour reporting, and over-the-air updates. Ford's Connectivity Package also adds connected navigation, hotspot, streaming, and voice services — Canadian activation requirements and included access periods should be confirmed for the specific vehicle.

Standard across the 2026 Transit lineup, including automatic high-beam headlamps, Lane-Keeping Alert and Assist, Driver Alert, Road Edge Detection, camera-based Evasive Steering Assist, Intersection Assist, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (including pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, dynamic brake support, and oncoming AEB), Post-Collision Braking, and front parking sensors.

Cargo Van and Passenger Van also get a rear-view camera and rear parking sensors. Cutaway and Chassis Cab include a rear-camera prep kit, with installation requirements depending on the completed upfit and certification.

Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0

Standard on Passenger Van XLT and available on Cargo Van and Passenger Van XL, Assist 2.0 adds Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering on eligible configurations, Predictive Speed Assist, a 360-Degree Camera, side parking sensors, Reverse Brake Assist, BLIS with Cross-Traffic Alert, connected navigation, heated power-folding mirrors, and front fog lamps. Some functions vary by vehicle weight and parking-brake configuration.

Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ for Cutaway and Chassis Cab

Available on compatible Cutaway and Chassis Cab models, Assist+ adds Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering, Predictive Speed Assist, Blind Spot Assist, rear parking equipment, and additional cross-traffic technology. Because the final body can affect sensor placement, some components ship as kits the upfitter installs. As with any driver-assistance system, these are supplemental and don't replace attentive driving.
