Ford's order guide doesn't call out a new retail trim for 2026. The lineup continues with Active, Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch.

Ford Expedition

The standard-length Expedition offers three-row seating and a flexible cargo area without stepping up to the longer MAX body. Available in Active, Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch, with Tremor offered exclusively in the standard-length body.

A strong fit for families who need full-size seating and capability but don't need the extra rear cargo space of the MAX.

Ford Expedition MAX

Uses an extended-length body for additional room behind the third row. Available on Active, Platinum, and King Ranch. Ford's guide doesn't list a Tremor MAX configuration.

Especially useful for larger families, long-distance travel, and anyone who regularly carries passengers and luggage at the same time.

Ford Expedition XL SSV

The XL Special Service Vehicle is a fleet-only configuration built for government, public-service, and related applications. Offered as an Expedition or Expedition MAX with four-wheel drive, specialized fleet equipment, and a five-passenger standard layout. A third-row seat is available on the MAX.

Since the XL SSV isn't a normal retail trim, most Athabasca-area customers will be comparing Active, Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch.

3.5L EcoBoost V6

Standard on Active, Platinum, and King Ranch, paired with a 10-speed automatic with SelectShift. Depending on the model, it can be combined with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive.

Active buyers can choose rear-wheel or four-wheel drive on both the standard Expedition and Expedition MAX. Platinum and King Ranch are listed as four-wheel-drive models in the supplied guide.

High Output 3.5L EcoBoost V6

Standard on Tremor, and also included with the Platinum Stealth Performance and Platinum Ultimate packages. On Tremor, it's paired with an electronic-locking rear differential, specialized suspension, all-terrain tires, and added cooling and underbody protection.

Ford's powertrain table lists most 2026 output ratings as to be determined, so vehicle-specific power figures should be confirmed before going live on the site.

Rear-Wheel Drive and Four-Wheel Drive

Active is available with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. Four-wheel-drive Expeditions use Intelligent 4WD and a two-speed transfer case with Torque on Demand, with drive modes including Normal, Sport, Tow/Haul, Eco, Slippery, and Off-Road.

Tremor adds Rock Crawl mode, plus Trail Control, Trail One-Pedal Drive, and Trail Turn Assist. Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch are listed as four-wheel-drive configurations in Ford's guide.

Eight-Passenger Seating

Active Select includes a second-row 40/20/40 bench for up to eight passengers. A power-folding second-row bench is available on Active Touring, Tremor, and select Platinum builds, bumping seating from seven to eight.

Seven-Passenger Seating

Active Touring, Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch come standard with second-row captain's chairs, giving individual seating and an open path to the third row. Depending on the model, the chairs can include power folding, armrests, heating, and tip-and-slide access.

PowerFold Third Row

Runs across the retail lineup. Depending on the model, third-row equipment can include:

• 60/40 split folding
• 40/20/40 flexible seating
• Power recline
• Remote power-folding head restraints
• USB-C charging ports
• Luxury vinyl or leather seating surfaces

The available 40/20/40 layout lets the center section fold independently, so you can carry longer cargo while keeping passenger seating open.

Every 2026 Expedition includes the Ford Split Gate. Instead of a single conventional liftgate, it combines a power upper liftgate with a power lower tailgate. The lower section works well as a seat, a loading surface, or just extra room to organize cargo. Available Cargo Tailgate Manager equipment adds further organization at the rear.

On higher trims, the Split Gate can also include Open On Approach, which detects the key and makes access easier without the driver manually operating the liftgate.

Included on several four-wheel-drive configurations. Depending on the trim, it includes:

• Heavy-duty engine radiator
• Integrated trailer brake controller
• Two-speed automatic four-wheel drive
• Neutral towing capability
• Trailer Sway Control
• BLIS with Trailer Coverage
• Pro Trailer Hitch Assist
• Pro Trailer Backup Assist
• 360-Degree Camera

Pro Trailer Hitch Assist helps control steering, acceleration, and braking while reversing toward a compatible trailer hitch. Pro Trailer Backup Assist helps the driver steer a connected trailer while backing up.

The order guide doesn't provide a finalized maximum towing table. Capacity should be confirmed for the exact vehicle, axle, drivetrain, passenger, cargo, and trailer configuration.

Tremor is the most off-road-focused model in the lineup, offered exclusively as a standard-length Expedition with four-wheel drive and the High Output 3.5L EcoBoost V6.

Tremor equipment includes:

• Electronic-locking rear differential
• Two-speed four-wheel-drive system
• Modified higher-ride suspension
• Premium passive shock absorbers
• All-terrain tires
• Front tow hooks
• Front and transmission skid plates
• Fuel-tank underbody protection
• Heavy-duty engine cooling
• Off-road auxiliary grille lights
• Trail Control, Trail One-Pedal Drive, and Trail Turn Assist
• Rock Crawl drive mode
• 360-Degree Zone Lighting

Tremor also gets a Power Panoramic Vista Roof, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row captain's chairs, leather-trimmed seating, and a flexible 40/20/40 third row. Electric Spice accents show up across the wheels, exterior, and interior, setting Tremor apart from the rest of the lineup.

Active, Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch all include the Ford Digital Experience: a 24-inch panoramic display near the driver's line of sight, paired with a 13.2-inch center touchscreen.

Integrated features include:

• Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play
• Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Pinch-to-zoom
• Ford Power-Up software updates
• Ford App compatibility
• 911 Assist

The panoramic display can show driving info, navigation, and vehicle status without the driver looking down at a traditional gauge cluster. Connected functions depend on vehicle equipment, activation, network availability, and the selected service plan.

The 2026 Expedition offers Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 across the lineup, including:

• Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering
• Predictive Speed Assist
• Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Detection
• Forward Collision Warning
• Blind Spot Assist and BLIS with Cross-Traffic Alert / Trailer Coverage
• Lane-Keeping System with Road Edge Protection
• Front and rear parking sensors
• Reverse Brake Assist
• 360-Degree Camera
• Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Pro Trailer Backup Assist
• Automatic high-beam headlamps

Higher equipment groups can add Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0 with Intersection Assist and related features.

Driver-assist systems are supplemental. They don't replace attentive driving, safe decision-making, or proper trailer handling.

Available or included on select Active Touring, Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch models, allowing hands-free driving on compatible divided-highway sections while a driver-facing camera monitors attention.

Availability depends on trim and equipment. Some vehicles include the required hardware and an initial access period; others need the hardware and service option added at order time. A one-time-purchase option is also available on eligible configurations.

Because BlueCruise access terms can differ between the U.S. and Canada, confirm the exact hardware and service period for each vehicle.

A 400-watt Pro Power Onboard system is included on Active Touring, Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch, with an outlet in the center console and another in the cargo area. Can power compatible electronics, chargers, and smaller recreational gear, useful for road trips, camping, or anywhere conventional power isn't close by.

Available on Tremor, Platinum, and King Ranch, with screens that include high-output USB connections. Can't be combined with the standard Digital Device Holder, which gives buyers the choice between a factory entertainment system or using their own tablets and devices.

2026 Expedition Active

Active is the entry point for retail Expedition buyers. The standard Active Select configuration includes:

• 3.5L EcoBoost V6 with 10-speed automatic
